JOB OVERVIEW
To report to the Sales VP of Ashley Asia. Candidate needs to achieve these key objectives:
Assist Ashley Home Stores / Galleries / Dealers to achieve their yearly sales targets
Extensive Training will be provided to the Candidate in order for him to ensure out Ashley stores and galleries consistently meet Ashley retail benchmarks in:
Marketing & Promotional Planning
Sales Operation & Logistics
Product Merchandising
Visual Merchandising
DUTIES & MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
Sales Operation and Logistics
To provide all necessary after- sales support to our Home Stores / Galleries / Dealers.
To have good knowledge on warehousing, packing, handling and delivery of furniture in order to ensure timely replenishment of Ashley inventory in both shopfloors and warehouse(s).
To train Ashley retail salespeople to have intimate knowledge of our products, inventory system, training aids, marketing plans, merchandising plans and etc.
Understands how home furnishing retail works in your market for the middle segment customers and to assist Ashley Home Store owners to drive more throughput. To create Best- Sellers for each category: Upholstery, Dining Room, Bedroom and Motion. This involves having a good understanding about the competitive landscape, the retail pricing environment and how to track sales / consumer information.
Visual Merchandising
Ensure all POP materials are in the best visible locations and properly displayed.
Ensure our stores are constantly upkeep, clean, properly arrange and well- coordinated with accessories that matches the furniture.
Ensure a high merchandising standard that conforms to Ashley benchmarks.
Work with individual store managers and supervisors to understand their needs, and how to create an enticing buying environment for consumers.
Work with Ashley’s retail partners to ensure Visual Displays drives Sales.
Product Merchandising
Work closely with US and China merchandise team for all matters pertaining to any new store or gallery opening in your market or in a market designated by your superior.
Work with Ashley’s retail partners to analyze and understand the product assortment, and to have the confidence to push new designs as allocated to your market.
Marketing and Promotional Planning
To actively participate with our Retail Partners in understanding consumers’ preference and needs, such as material, color and accessories, in order to create more retail turns by matching what is available, incoming and outgoing models.
Ensure the Ashley brand is constantly and correctly positioned, within the budget allocated by our Home Stores. Our brand name comes first and you have to use your initiative and creativity to help the customer’s marketing team to constantly engage the public.
Engage Ashley’s retail partners to consistently work on promotional and advertising plan throughout the year and to understand their promotional and festive periods.
