Internship - Finance

The Vietnam Internship Program (VIP) is designed for students who look for gain practical on-the-job experience during his or her graduation year or right after graduation. In this document, the final year students or recently graduated students are referred to as ‘Graduates’.

The objective of this program is to build suffice skills for graduates needed to embark on a successful career in banking. The program also aims to support on career opportunities for fresh graduates in the society where we operate.

Global Functions (GFs) play a vital role in supporting the bank’s Global Businesses and offer a broad range of career opportunities in areas from legal, risk and finance to human resources, sustainability, marketing and communications. Their operational and functional teams around the world help HSBC’s Global Businesses to operate efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis. They also focus on controls and governance to reduce risk and protect the Group’s reputation.

In this role, you will:

• Support Local regulatory reporting team to create simple regulatory reports including statistic reports and Financial reports


• Perform daily data mapping task for daily Trial balance sheet reporting


• Support administration work


• Perform add-hoc task upon Line Manager's request

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements: 

• Financial accounting knowledge


• Accuracy & carefulness in working with data


• Good in MS Office: Excel, Word


• Good at English, especially in reading & writing


• Good communication & analytical skills


• Can commit 6 months INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
