Responsibilities:
P1)
The Electrical Engineering intern will work closely under direct supervision of a senior engineer to perform specific engineering tasks of an analysis or test nature in specialized engineering fields. The intern will apply theoretical knowledge and engineering techniques to the solution of basic analytical engineering problems. Other responsibilities include:
• Delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions• Identify and implement opportunities to achieve lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability.
• Collaboration with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, key stakeholders and through in- depth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance to existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.
• Effective collaboration with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field overlooking projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule; oversight of planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements.
• Owning safety within area of influence; ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing, facility (or operations) impacts by meeting uptime goals.
P2)The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work closely under the direct supervision of a senior engineer to perform specific engineering tasks of an analysis or test nature in specialized engineering fields.
Provides facilities, engineering and operational support focusing on mechanical systems such as stated below:
• Chilled water plant
• Exhaust and Pumps systems.
• Owning safety within the area of influence, ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing, facility, or operations impacts by meeting uptime goals.
• Effective collaboration with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field overlooking projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule oversight of planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities, systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements.
• Delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing, and commissioning solutions,• Identify and implement opportunities to achieve lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability,
• Oil- free air, Compressed Air, and Vacuum systems.
• HVAC Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning.
• Collaboration with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, key stakeholders and through an in- depth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance to existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.
P3)
Facilities project intern will:
• Identify all outstanding remedial tasks and ensure that contractors complete them within the agreed- upon timeframe. Provide weekly management updates through comprehensive site briefings, encompassing progress updates accompanied by photos and daily logs.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager to address any site- related issues. Aid in the daily coordination, supervision, monitoring, inspection, and testing of construction activities to guarantee alignment with specifications, drawings, and the established timeline.
• Participate in and meticulously document meetings related to work or projects as required. Undertake additional responsibilities and related tasks as needed and not explicitly outlined above.
• Enforce the execution of project quality control measures, ensuring that contractors adhere to the prescribed quality audits and procedures. This includes promptly reporting discrepancies identified on- site, conducting material inspections, and more.
