INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE

- The Investment Associate / Manager will work directly with the Director of Investmens to execute the investment strategy of Vingroup Ventures. This role requires a focus on deal execution, including the ability to source and analyze deals, knowledge of the due diligence process, strong presentation skills and an entrepreneurial mindset that is able to deal with ambiguity and change. This role is based in HCMC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze investments including creating and checking financial models, company and industry analysis
- Help monitor the performance of portfolio companies
- Write thought pieces to be published and presented at industry events
- Other projects as needed
- Execute the investment strategies to achieve Vingroup Ventures’ objectives
- Manage reporting system for deal pipeline and portfolio companies
- Assist with due diligence and coordinate transaction execution and closing
- Coach, develop and mentor junio members of the team, especially with technical skills training

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING
- Experience and knowledge of the venture investing market in Vietnam. Additional experience in Asia and
- Excellent financial modeling and accounting skills

- Technically proficient, with advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Effective relationship management skills and demonstrated credibility with investment teams
- Like to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. No project is too small
- Detail-oriented and analytical. This is a highly data-driven role. You must love numbers
- Thinker
- Practical knowledge of key legal terms and issues used within venture investments
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Work well in teams, and also independent enough to figure things out on your own
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-7 years of combined work experience in venture capital/private equity/investment banking and
that is a definite plus
perational experience at a startup or large corporation. If you have worked in several of these areas,
- Excellent Excel skills
- International work experience or studies is a plus, but not required
- Fluent in written/spoken English and Vietnamese
