Position:
The Investment Banking Analyst will be joining at a time of growth for the corporate finance area in the Asian market and will be core to ensuring the continuity of the area’s growth.
To support the execution of investment banking activities with the objective of generating further business and transactions for the division and company in the areas of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt structuring and restructuring, valuation and cash flow monitoring.
This position is crucial to the success of the corporate finance team operations given that we have an increasing deal- flow in Asia and many transactions being executed simultaneously. Therefore, it is important to have a team that can execute and manage each transaction objectively to a high standard with a strong sense of ownership.
Task & Responsibilities
Research industries in which our clients operate and identify business trends
Develop pitch book presentations and related client materials
Be responsible for individual personal development and work to reach the objective of the organization.
Provide analytical, due diligence and transaction support on M&A and capital raising transactions
Be part of the deal team that concludes M&A transactions
Construct financial models and tool sets for valuation analysis
Control and monitoring of the internal corporate finance budget
Requirements:
Strong financial modeling, quantitative and problem solving skills;
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields;
Ability to travel (domestic and international).
1- 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance or a Big Four firm;
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word;
Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required (Thai or Indonesian Bahasa is a plus);
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to manage multiple projects and perform under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong proven entrepreneurial skills/mindset
Experience and track- record in M&A sell- side and buy- side processes (deal experience in Thai energy and logistics/infrastructure sectors is an advantage)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
