IOT Engineer

Ampotech is an energy technology company based in Singapore that develops internet of things (IoT) hardware and AI- enabled software to help businesses collect, analyse, and integrate building and machine electricity usage data for sustainability reporting, benchmarking, automation, and facilities management.
Job Des in Linux shell and Python to get data from industrial devices and monitoring device health status.
● Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our systems.
● Support fieldwork to install, configure, and test system components and ensure optimal performance.
● Provide technical support and training to team members and clients.

● Minimum of 2 years of experience in building management systems, IoT, SCADA systems, or metering systems.
● Can work overtime as required by the project demands and workload at that time
● Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Experience in fieldwork and hands- on installation, configuration, and testing of system components is a plus.
● Proficient in Linux, shell scripting, Python programming, and network troubleshooting.
● Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
● Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
● Strong knowledge of computer networks and industrial communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, BacNet, mBus, etc.).
● Domain knowledge in HVAC system, water meter, power meter, BTU meter, industrial sensors is a strong plus
● Self- motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
● Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
● Currently available and can start work as soon as possible is an advantage.
