IT Manufacturing Analyst - Manufacturing IT Team

MES Implementation

Assist in the deployment and support of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to optimize production processes and data capture.
Collaborate with the IT Group to integrate MES with factory equipment using OPC UA and other industrial communication protocols, enabling real- time data acquisition and seamless system interoperability.

ERP IFS Support & Enhancement

Collaborate with cross- functional teams and global ERP stakeholders to implement additional ERP modules and optimize business processes
Receive and manage the handover of ERP- IFS solutions from the global team, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and system continuity.
Support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the ERP IFS system, addressing local business needs and system improvements.

Shop Floor Automation

Support the sourcing and installation of hardware such as tablets, scanners, and industrial PCs.
Contribute to the automation of shop floor processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

Digitalization & Integration

Drive digitalization efforts by integrating new technologies into manufacturing workflows.
Ensure seamless data flow between MES, ERP, and factory systems

IT Infrastructure & Support

Provide technical support for IT- related issues within the manufacturing environment.
Manage IT assets, hardware sourcing, and installation.
Collaborate with IT colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and network- related challenges.

Power Platform Development

Support and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate flows used in manufacturing and administrative processes.

Global Collaboration & Support

Use ticketing tools (Atlassian JIRA) to provide support and assistance to other factories as part of the global Manufacturing IT team.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing IT.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in IT systems support, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), OPC UA, and ERP (IFS preferred)., or industrial automation environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and cross- functional collaboration.

Technical Skills:

Comfortable with Windows Server environments, RDP, and Microsoft 365 administration.
Basic understanding of CCTV systems, VoIP, and time attendance systems (e.g., BioStar 2).
Knowledge of network infrastructure: switches, hubs, IP configuration, and basic troubleshooting (e.g., PowerShell commands Test- NetConnection).
Experience with MES systems, OPC UA, and ERP (IFS preferred).
Hands- on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for workflow automation and app development.
Knowledge of IT hardware sourcing, installation, and asset management.
