IT Officer

Job overview:
Responsible for managing the entire system and equipment related to the IT system and ensuring the system is always ready to serve business goals and plans.
Main duty:

Set up new users&039; accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
Provide support in a face- to- face capacity, over the phone or via remote desktop software, helping staff or clients set up systems or resolve issues.
Test and evaluate new technology.
Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them.
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Replace parts as required.
Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.

Qualification and requirements:

Problem- solving skills.
Certification in Database Administration or Development Skills.
The ability to think logically.
A good memory of how software and operating systems work.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or related field.
3 years relevant work experience.
Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
Good English
Experience in Business Requirements gathering and analysis.
