Job Purpose
The position is responsible for:
• To be responsible for Oversee the administration and maintenance of the hotel&039;s networks infrastructure.
• Oversees the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for company training programs and the Learning Studio and provides additional support if necessary
• To perform any other duties as required by the Hotel Management.
• To manage all function on day to day operation basic, planning, managing, controlling, in Information Technology structure and activities (hardware, software, networking and utilities).
Primary Responsibilities
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Other tasks assigned by management
• Ensures that all computer software have proper license.
• To monitor re- training programs to increase skill and update the information for existing staff.
• Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT- related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
• Works with Accor’ IT teams to help implement Internal Systems
• Ensures that the computer room and all related computer peripherals are adequately air- cooled.
• To ensure that the internal training programs are conducted as planned to improve staff knowledge and necessary Information technology skills up to the hotel and Accor standards.
HUMAN RESPONSIBILITIES
• To create a good working atmosphere and efficient cooperation with other departments
• To develop and implement programs to ensure employee and guest security and safety.
Main Complexity/Critical issues in the Job
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS
• Hire and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems
• To prepare hotel annual training plan base on guideline and documentation
• Work with our computer suppliers on any problems that may arise in relation to the Opera, MC, POS, SUN, MC, HSIA System
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and Electronic Data Processing (EDP)
• Manages and support to the company&039;s PABX system at the hotel
• To check and implementation training activities, program for new staff
• Provide individual training and support on request
• Train staff about potential uses of existing technology
• Ensures that the operations of the hotel’s computer system are well understood by the relevant users
• Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system
• Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
• Source and learn new software that is available in market places.
