- We seek a seasoned PMO Manager to join our dynamic technical team, which serves a Group Business focusing on Banking/Finance/Securities/Fintech. The PMO Manager oversees the Project Management Office, ensuring that projects across the organization are executed efficiently, within budget, and on time.
Main Responsibilities:
The PMO Manager provides guidance, standardizes project management practices, and ensures that all project activities are aligned with the organization’s goals. This role includes developing methodologies and ensuring governance and compliance with best practices.
Methodology Development:
- Develop and implement standard project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) to be followed across the organization.
Governance:
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks that ensure consistent project reporting, risk management, and quality assurance across all projects.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and report on project performance, ensuring key milestones, deadlines, and budgets are met. Identify issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track project progress.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the PMO team.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross- functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
Lead the PMO team, providing strategic direction and support for all technical projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences through digital channels.
Bachelor/Master&039;s degree in Computer Science, MBA, Project Management, or a related field
At least 5 years experience in Banking or Finance/Fintech companies, built corporate and retail banking products such as Deposit, Lending, Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Payment, FX.
An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to develop a vision for the direction of the product.
Certification in good standing, such as PMP, PgMP, Agile or other project management certifications, are preferred. Proficient in Project management and collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Teams..)
Exceptional attention to detail and excellent coordination and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple inputs and to organize data effectively.
Have experience in PMO management and have worked in a strategic management position for 5- years or more, including planning and operations experience.
In- depth understanding of IT technologies used in the banking/securities industry.
