Position Summary:
The IT Service Desk Technician is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, software, and hardware. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining IT equipment, and supporting IT projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem- solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of IT systems within a business environment.
Assist with user account management, including setting up new accounts and managing access permissions.
Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions using the IT service management system.
Follow IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, and network devices.
Provide training and guidance to employees on IT systems and software usage.
Participate in on- call support rotation and provide after- hours support as needed.
Provide technical support for software applications, ensuring compatibility and resolving issues.
Provide first- level technical support to employees, resolving issues related to IT systems, software, and hardware.
Conduct routine maintenance and updates on IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in the implementation and support of IT projects as directed by the IT Manager.
Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends to provide effective support

Requirement:
Excellent problem- solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with IT service management systems.
Strong understanding of IT systems, software, and hardware.
Ability to participate in on- call support rotation and provide after- hours support as needed.
Fresh graduates or 1- 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common IT software applications.
