IT System & Network Specialist

JOB PURPOSE:

Train users on the proper use of hardware and software
Install all network hardware and software and make needed upgrades and repairs
Collect data in order to evaluate the network’s or system’s performance and help make the system work better and faster
Maintain network and computer system security and ensure that all systems are operating correctly
Manage Infrastructure to ensure IT infrastructure works properly in Vietnam, at all sites for divisions: Genetics and Farm, Feed, Food Processing & Slaughterhouse & Joint- venture
Add users to a network and assign and update security permissions on the network
Solve problems when a user or an automated monitoring system informs them that a problem exists

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.

Design and implement DC, DR
Test internet performance
Ensure required high availability of IT servers system
Design integrated computer systems
Test computer hardware and software performance
Implement security measures for computer or information systems

Respond to and resolve requests.

Provide technical support for computer network issues
Perform other related duties as required
Prepare input, reports for, ICT Manager and Business Unit Management
Receive & resolve ticket and join in projects
Collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues
Provide VIP IT support (case by case)
Troubleshoot issues with computer applications or systems
Prepares ad- hoc advice

Implement, monitor, and improve our 24/7 network operations, as well as our managed services.

Ensure required high availability of IT servers system
Monitor use, capacity, and performance of network & systems
Maintain effective security/backup and disaster recovery processes and system
Coordinate and manage team resource allocation to facilitate optimal delivery service
Ensure IT assets are recorded, protected and refreshed to deliver the agreed SLA
Ensure incident management protocols and process are effectively and consistently followed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree or equivalent in a related IT System area.
It is an advantage when holding these extra formal certifications: A+, CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VCP, Symantec Backup Exec, Storage Management & System Monitoring

EXPERIENCES:

SQL server management (Advantageous)
Virtualization
DC, DR Design
Cloud computing (Advantageous)
IT experience needed, including operating, moderating complex systems and programming. 5+ years’ experience
Windows Server

LANGUAGE(S):

Good verbal and written communication skills (reading, writing, listening, oral, presentation)
Good communication in English.
