Position: IT Workplace Engineer
Working Location: HCMC | Onsite D.4 / D.1

Working Hours: 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM (Monday to Friday)

JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Workplace Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT workplace infrastructure, including end- user devices, collaboration platforms, and productivity tools. This role ensures employees have a reliable, secure, and efficient IT environment to perform their work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
End- User Device Management
- Implement and support endpoint management tools (e.g. SCCM...).
- Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Manage device lifecycle, including procurement, imaging, patching, and decommissioning.
Collaboration & Productivity Tools
- Ensure seamless integration and user experience across platforms.
- Support and optimize tools like Microsoft 365, Teams.
Workplace Infrastructure
- Assist with network connectivity issues (Wi- Fi, VPN, LAN) in collaboration with the network team.
- Maintain and support meeting room technologies (AV systems, conferencing tools).
Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.
- Enforce endpoint security policies (antivirus, encryption, access control).
User Support & Training
- Create documentation and conduct training sessions for end users.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues.
Project Participation
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve user experience.
- Contribute to IT projects related to digital workplace transformation.
Team & Vendor Management
- Manage third- party vendors and service providers to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Lead and mentor a team of workplace engineers, support analysts, and service desk staff.
Service Delivery & Support
- Drive continuous improvement in ITSM processes (e.g., request fulfillment, problem management).
- Ensure high availability and performance of workplace systems and tools.
- Oversee end- user support services, including service desk operations and incident management.
Technology & Infrastructure Oversight
- Manage lifecycle of end- user devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices).
- Ensure meeting room technologies and office IT infrastructure are modern, reliable, and user- friendly.
- Oversee collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good communication skills both written and oral in English.
- Strong technical, analytical, and engineering competencies with hands- on experience in managing workplace and infrastructure environments.
- 7+ years of experience in IT.
- Experience in IT documentation and IT facilities roll out.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of workplace technologies, ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL), and modern collaboration tools.
- Proven experience managing cross- functional teams and vendors.
