JOB DESCRIPTION
Technical Leadership:
Team Management: o Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers. o Assign tasks, review code, and provide feedback.
Leverage containerization technologies like Docker for efficient deployment.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. o Drive technical decision- making and architectural design.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Stay up- to- date with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.
Software Development: o Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications using Spring Boot. o Implement RESTful APIs to expose services to frontend applications. o Utilize Kafka for event- driven architecture and message streaming.
CI/CD:
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and event- driven design.
Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Excellent problem- solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Kafka for message streaming and event- driven architectures, Sagaa= orchestration.
Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Framework.
Experience with security best practices and vulnerability scanning
At least 5 years of experience in Java development and 3 years of team leadership experience.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
