Java Developer (Linux, OOP)

Software Engineers (Java) will use their technical expertise to research, recommend, design and implement high performance, big data applications. They will work with other developers to program based on coding standards, and to assure that all tasks and projects are completed with the highest quality.

When requested or a project requires some over- time may be necessary to meet company success
Follow the company processes
Develop high quality code for high traffic and availability sites and applications using company standards and processes
When needed meet clients and work with 3rd parties
Assist in gathering requirements

Starting working: As soon as possible

Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience successfully implementing solutions in applications using Java on Linux environments
Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies
Aptitude to learn quickly and work well within a team environment
Must be self- motivated and able to achieve results
Strong understanding of SOA methodologies and service architectures
A Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
Other Technologies: Linux, Apache/Nginx, Web Services, TCP/IP, SVN…
Detailed and focused on quality
Knowledge on high- availability, high- scalability web applications
Strong knowledge/experiences on OOP, data structure and algorithm
JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS, others JS frameworks (NodeJS, AngularJS, …) are a plus
