Java Development Lead (Technical Lead)

Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. As a Java Development Lead at Endava, you are responsible for developing highly quality software components to deliver value to stakeholders. You&039;ll handle specifying and designing complex software application by following design standards and principles and lead a team.
Responsibilities:

Recommends and promotes IT industry standards, tools, practices (DevOps, etc.) to achieve well- engineered software products.
Participates in the review of the work done by development team members.
Shares experience and knowledge gained from projects.
Influences the team, customers, and suppliers.
Participates in internal and external tech communities, events.
Makes decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives.
Learns and applies new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.
Can propose solutions autonomously.
Can articulate solutions to technical and non- technical stakeholders.
Participates actively in all phases of application development lifecycle.
Has responsibility for the work of others and for allocating resources.
Collaborates with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
Designs, estimates, and implements technical solutions for medium/high complexity applications.
Proposes improvements and escalates risks/issues related to development activities.

Mandatory skills:

Spring (Core, Boot, Web, Data, AOP, Transaction Management)
Data Management tools (Relational/nonRelational/inMemory DBs, Message Brokers)
Experience with leading a development team
Knowledge of DevOps practices and culture
HTTP protocol, web services and best practices
Coding at high quality applying Clean Code, Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
Persistence tools and ORM (Hibernate, Querydsl, Spring JDBC template)
Agile SCRUM/KANBAN experience
7+ Year of Experience
Dynamic infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Service Provide)
