Pentalog Vietnam is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer with DevOps (monitoring) experience to join an interesting and potential project.
Our US client provides the leading, independent, multi- issuer platform for structured products and annuities. They are the trustworthy partners for bank leaders and advisors by providing the most transparent, objective, and easy- to- manage tools so they can help guide their clients towards a better financial future.
Responsibilities:

Java development:

Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications.
Responsible for designing, developing, delivering and maintaining Java- based applications.
Interpreting briefs to create high- quality coding that functions according to specifications.
Writing new mappings, doing deployments, and updating databases
Performing change management activities such as source code management, creating activity records for production implementation, creating implementation plans
Reading logs, debugging code, making quick fixes

DevOps monitoring:

Administer, monitor, health check system, ensure high availability and backup
Responsible for Monitoring operation services continuity
Perform releases and rollbacks, checking logs using Circle CI
Develop Metabase dashboards (SQL, Mongo)

Yêu cầu công việc

Must have:

Experience with Java Development:
Experience in developing applications using at least one popular framework (Spring, Hibernate, Play, JSF...);
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns;
Experience with Microservices, Code Quality control: Sonar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer;
Experience in JUNIT testing: Spring test, EasyMock, Spring datatest, etc;
Experience with DevOps monitoring:
Hands- on experience with setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, familiar with CircleCI is a plus;
Experience with SQL/MongoDB.
Experience with AWS, experience with AWS Lambda functions is a plus;

Soft- skills:

Good problem- solving skills;
Good communication and client- facing skills, able to reinforce relationships with client;
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

Experience in building and leading a team with strong leadership skills;
Experience in working across the Asia- Pacific region;
Experience with Fintech/Finance business domain.
