Junior Analytics Engineer/Data Engineer

We are looking for an Analytic Engineer or Data Engineer with strong data experience to join a strong Machine Learning team working on a mix of active and future fintech products. The position will provide domain expertise to work with our data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software engineers and speed up cross- functional work between the data and business sides. We will provide further training and mentoring on data tools and techniques if needed..

Help building comprehensive profiles for tens of millions of end- users with a special focus on financial services in a very big data resource.
Work in a cross- functional team (business, product and tech) throughout the product life cycle, performing (but not limited to) data insights, data pipeline, data governance,… anything with data.
Involve in a full data cycle of a product and business line.

Strong written and verbal communication. You will explain problems and insights to both business and technical teams.
Experience in Spark is a plus. Knowing Python/R/SPSS or Java is a great advantage. Otherwise, we will provide you with training.
At least 1 year of experience as Analytics Engineer/Data Engineer.
Your ability and desire to learn is essential. Both the product and technology are constantly evolving and we all help each other keep up.
Proficiency with an SQL- based language is required. BigQuery is a plus;
Solid analytical skills with numbers and data. You can transform data, apply domain knowledge, test hypotheses, detect patterns and spot critical gaps.
