Junior Backend Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

Aiming for that lifetime goal, we provide a platform to manage HR, payroll, and employee benefits all in one place. The whole engineering team is working hard to improve the platform in terms of resiliency and efficiency to create as much reliable as possible environment for our beloved customers.

As a member of a product team, you’ll have a chance to work closely with product owners, designers (in Sydney) and other excellent engineers, mentors who will mentor you day by day to transform ideas to production code. By joining the backend team, you will learn the modern architect like microservices and hands-on Ruby with experienced mentors. Sound great, it’s because you will be the foundation of Employment Hero.

You'll need to:

• Be open-minded and willing to learn new things
• Have coding and good problem solving skills.
• Know OOP, coding conventions, principles like DRY, SOLID….
• Can-do attitude and we are always there to provide guidance.
• Have good communication skills, in both Vietnamese and English.

It would be great if you have: 

• Hand on with Ruby programming language.
• Know Agile or other mythology.
