Fixed Term Contract Junior Business Analyst for Business Process Review at a Vietnamese Investment Fund Manager
Seeking a dynamic and skilled Junior Business Analyst to support a comprehensive business process review for a leading Vietnamese investment manager.This is 8- 12 week fixed term assignment (initially) assisting an international (Singapore) investment consultancy company deliver an fixed- term assignment for one of their existing local Vietnamese clients; if the assignment is a success there may be potential for extension.
Your direct manager will be a HCMC resident Australian and who will provide weekly guidance and management of your performance in the role. Should you be short- listed you will be interviewed in person by them in late February.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial markets, particularly investments, and possess excellent bilingual skills in Vietnamese and English. The work environment will be very dynamic and international- You will be required to work with majority Vietnamese staff on the client site (Q1) but also coordinate daily with English speaking colleagues remotely on a daily basis (Singapore).
Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes within the fund management sphere, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
Engage in the development and implementation of solutions to enhance business operations, with a focus on investment management processes.
Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment of business objectives and project deliverables.
Utilize strong process mapping skills to create clear and accurate representations of business processes.
Collaborate with various teams to understand and document business requirements and workflows.

Core Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in financial markets, with a strong emphasis on investment strategies and fund management.
Ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
Excellent command of both Vietnamese and English languages, enabling effective communication in a bilingual work environment.
Demonstrated ability in process mapping and documentation, with hands- on experience in tools like, Confluence, and similar systems.

Education and Experience

Relevant experience in a business analysis role, preferably within the financial services or investment management sector.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
