Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

• Participate in multidiscipline design reviews.
• Continuously search for new innovative technical solutions to improve products, systems, and processes.
• To report to Senior Subsea CAD (design) Engineer and support in the project work.
• The Subsea Design Engineer will be an integral part of the Subsea Design Engineering Team that is technical responsible for developing, delivering concepts and drawings for subsea products during its engineering phase of the project.
• To perform CAD activities such as concept design, detail design (Modeling) and fabrication drawing creation.
• Consider safety, quality, cost, manufacturability and subsea operability in designs.
• To develop design reports.

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• From 6 months of experience as Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Good knowledge in Creo or other 3D CAD systems and team center.
• Experience in fabrication and testing of subsea modules (prefer)
• Good knowledge of materials, welding and manufacturing processes and capabilities and assembly process.
• Familiar with relevant standards (NORSOK, ISO, ASME, API, etc.) and design requirements for subsea products.
• Develop models and drawings of modules within manifold systems.
• Self- motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Computer proficiency and strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
• New Product development skills.
• Highly proactive and results oriented.
