Junior Product Manager

This role will be working hand- in- hand with a veteran team of Agile Developers, Business stakeholders and bright Product managers that are creating exciting new features for Sociolla customers. As a junior product manager, you will be responsible for the inception and launch of product features. Your role will need to be a combination of team player and individual contributor who has production experience delivering e- commerce software at scale.
Job Description & Core Function:

Risk and Dependency: Identify risks, dependencies and communicate timely andeffectively.
Support Sales and Marketing Activities: You will need to align product launch activitieswith marketing activities, furnish the sales team with competitor analysis, marketanalysis, business performance analysis, and other research information and ensurethat the product literature is accurate and relevant.
Product Analysis: You are responsible for analyzing market trends, sales performanceand customer feedback in order to make recommendations for the product. You mayalso analyze competitor activity so as to provide our products with a competitive edge.
Strategic Roadmap Contribution: The Junior Product Manager works to contribute toproduct enhancements and strategies.
Other Duties: Being answerable to the product manager, you will adopt other roles asassigned by your seniors.
Commitment: Adhere to process, commitments, milestones and timelines.
Collaboration: You are obliged to collaborate with product managers, tech teammembers in maintaining and ensuring the overall achievement of product objectives.
Work with the Tech, Business and Product teams to deliver high quality features andproducts within the expected timeline and prepare for launch.

Business knowledge: You should be able to understand our business, industry,marketing, sales, and more.
Creativity/Innovation: You should be creative and innovative in problem solving andthe formulation of solutions. Additionally, you should demonstrate great initiative andmotivation in approaching your workload as well as in learning new skills.
Technical knowledge: You should be able to understand the inner workings of aproduct such as how the product is created, the processes used as well as be able toconverse with the technical team to identify issues and find solutions.
Problem- solving skills: You may be tasked with finding solutions to problems that ariseduring the development of a product. You may also be responsible for finding ways toimprove our existing product.
Project management: You should be well versed with project management skills andproject management tool Jira. You should have the ability to lead the team throughtasks and meet deadlines and ensure product development happens on time.
Communication skills: You may be required to communicate with clients, developers,other departments, product managers and business teams.
Organizational Skills: A strong capability to meet deadlines is a quality necessary forproper execution of the duties in this position. Additionally, you must be a person whois able to effectively work on several simultaneous projects in a fast pacedenvironment.

Professional English Knowledge
Analytical skills: You must have the ability to break down information and identifypatterns. Being able to present your analysis in a clear and concise manner is animportant and mandatory skill for you.
1+ years of experience in software product management, business analysis, or productengineering role.
Ability to work without follow- up while seeking guidance when needed and effectivelyuse feedback.
Customer focus: Passionate about making life easier for the customer always. Livethrough their journey and come up with use cases.
