Junior Software Engineer (Python, Typescript, NodeJS)

This is a full- time hybrid role for a Junior Software Engineer in our warehouse fulfillment business where approximately 90% of work is remote and 10% on site at our office or warehouse within Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our ERP, back- end web applications, participating in the software development process, and creating new features. You will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and contribute tothe overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities

Produce clean code.
Develop company internal ERP with custom applications, modules, and functionalities.
Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to the applications.
Research requirements to build API / Connectors with other platforms.
Collaborate on designing, writing, reviewing, and testing code.

Requirements

Understand object- oriented programming language, object modeling and relational database
Can document technical designs, specifications, and processes.
Proficient in Python, JavaScript/Typescript, NodeJS, PostgreSQL
Understand versioning and can use GitHub
Quick and autonomous learner
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, both written and orally
Creative thinker and strategic problem solver
Passion for development

Nice to have

≥ 1 year of professional experience
Can speak Vietnamese and English well.
Knowledgeable with cloud technologies
Development experience with an ERP or similar product
Demonstrate an affinity for ERP products that handle Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Invoicing, POS, and related use cases.
Prior experience at a startup / fast growing small business

Work hours

Monday to Saturday (9:00- 12:00 & 13:00- 18:00)
Mainly work from home but must travel to the office or go to the factory when site work is required.
