The Key Account Executive for Chain Pharmacies is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key retail pharmacy chains. The role focuses on driving product sales, ensuring timely deliveries, managing inventory, and promoting brand awareness. This individual will work closely with the marketing and product management teams to ensure the achievement of sales targets and business objectives within the retail pharmacy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross- Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product management teams to align strategies and ensure seamless product availability and promotional execution.
Customer Support: Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly to maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Account Management: Develop and manage relationships with major retail pharmacy chains to ensure strong brand presence and customer satisfaction.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, promotions, and contracts with pharmacy chains to secure favourable terms for the company.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for growth.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular sales reports, insights, and forecasts to the management team, identifying areas of improvement and new business opportunities.
Order Management: Oversee the order processing, delivery schedules, and inventory levels to ensure timely fulfilment and stock availability.
Product and Service Knowledge: Stay well- informed about the company&039;s products and services. Introduce & educate retail chain pharmacy clients about company new products or services that may benefit business.
Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for assigned products and territories.
Customer Training and Support: Provide training and support to the retail chain pharmacy&039;s staff on the effective use of products or services and address any training needs or challenges faced by the client.
Product Promotion: Execute promotional activities, including product demonstrations, marketing campaigns, and in- store promotions, to increase product visibility and sales.
