Ensure consistency in taste and portion control, meeting the brand and service standards of Sheraton Hotels.
Stay updated on culinary trends and apply innovative ideas to the menu.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely service for events, banquets, and à la carte dining.
Design and update Chinese menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes, with expertise in Cantonese and/or Sichuan cuisine preferred.
Train and develop kitchen staff in Chinese cooking techniques and safety procedures.
Manage kitchen inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste.
Supervise the Chinese kitchen team to ensure high standards of hygiene, food quality, and presentation.

In- depth knowledge of regional Chinese cuisines (e.g., Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, etc.).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional training is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast- paced environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a high- end Chinese kitchen, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
Native Chinese speaker (Mandarin); basic English communication is a plus.
