perform visual inspections to ensure conformance to customer and/or company specifications
maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
perform inspections of finished and purchased parts, subassemblies, and assembled products according to specified instructions and industry standards using standard physical and mechanical measurements
check incoming material test reports to ensure it meets the requirements of the Purchase Order specifications
perform dimensional inspections to ensure conformance to customer and/or company Quality Procedures
complete and maintain all departmental records/forms pertaining to inspection status
monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration
reports quality problems or findings to Quality Supervisor or QHSE Director
keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition
accurately document the results of the inspections and testing
maintains record of inspections and prepares list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts

must be able to attain a valid certification to operate a forklift and overhead crane
interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
knowledgeable in algebra, geometry and trigonometry at high school level is desirable
assign priorities and resolve conflicts within daily routine tasks
inspect new, repaired and/or damaged tools and gauges to determine if they meet specifications
a self- starter and able to complete tasks with a minimum of guidance
must be able to attain certification and perform various non- destructive examination methods
ability to perform dimensional inspection
ability to recognize non- conformances
must be able to interpret detailed drawings and specifications
must be detail oriented, organized and ability to multi- task
must be fluent speaking, writing and reading English
