Mô tả công việc

Oversees all daily and periodic audits of hotel revenues ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness
• Distributes the work to the appropriate accounting personnel
• Researches all unpaid tips and requests the proper disbursal
• Controls the restaurant guest checks
• Spreads all miscellaneous wash accounts
Prepares all necessary daily and period end reports
• Prepare Daily revenue reports accurately and timely (before 9.00am).
• Prepares reports as requested for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities
• Review Daily Revenue Report for reasonableness, paying particular attention to: Occupancy, Average Rate, Meal period revenue and average check (ensuring that revenue has not been reporting in another meal period)
• Maintains filing system for daily information; registration cards, credit cards, restaurant charges etc
• Prepares the daily sales report
• Completes period journals
• Balancing Daily Revenue Report to Opera totals
• Process interface journals from Opera to Sun Accounting System
Balance daily the Micros reports to the postings in Opera system ensuring that large discrepancies are brought to the attention of the Director of Finance
Review Micros void report and ensure that voids are processed according to the Hotel’s policies and procedures and take action where usual or suspicious transactions occur.
Verify the daily collection of service charge for all revenue and perform reasonableness test.
Forward rebates onto the Director of Finance for authorisation once they have been verified.
Verify rebates and paid outs have been processed according to the Hotel’s policies and procedures and accounted for against Opera system reports
Review Banquet postings on a daily basis ensuring that postings through Opera System are reconciled.
Prepares reports as requested to improve management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.
• Recommends systems and procedures for accurate and orderly reporting of financial matters
• Reviews and analyses business results throughout the Hotel to ensure alignment with the Hotel’s financial objectives
• Reports on all areas of non-compliance to standard operating procedures and recommends changes or improvements
 Assist in the development of the Hotel business plan and ensure an overall understanding of its departmental goals and objectives
 Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
 Maintains a favourable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment
Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. Provide employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver Yes I Can! service and teamwork
 Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
 Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
 Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
 Keeps immediate Supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
 Attends work on time as scheduled
 Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
Assist the Director of Finance in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports in accordance with reporting calendars, ensuring that reports are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
 Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and the manager
 Follows safety and security rules and procedures
 Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
 At all times projects a favourable image of the Hotel to the public

Yêu cầu công việc

Interpersonal skills and Computer skills such as Opera system, Sun System, Material Control, Excel and Words.
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
Two years experience in similar position at the International Five Start Hotel Brand.
