Mô tả công việc

Financial returns:
• Understand departments and hotel&039;s product, and upsell to the guest, or recommend hotel products to the guest.
• Monitor food and operating costs and controls these by reducing waste.
• Preserve ingredients and food in good conditions in order to keep cost in line.
• Report Lost and Found immediately to Security.
• Be responsible for saving hotel asset/ energy/ water/ chemical and propose the saving ideas to management.
• Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure.
People:
• Identify training need, propose training plan, and conduct the training
• Able to work under pressure during busy times.
• Able to help other section within Repair & Maintenance whenever required by the supervisors.
• Conduct shift briefings, department meeting to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
• Observe staff&039;s performance, give constructive feedback when need it.
• Work with Superior and Human Resources on manpower planning and management needs
• Coach and develop staff
• Respond positively to changes in the workplace.
• Perform/ behave as per IHG Winning Ways to other colleagues within your department and toward other departments
• Perform/ behave as per IHG leadership competencies
• Demonstrate cooperation and trust with colleagues, supervisor and across department.
• Work with Superior and Human Resources on disciplinary action for poor performance or any conflict among staff
Guest experience:
• Manage all requests made by guests, or special request from guest that your staff reported to you
• Perform Brand&039;s Services behaviours in daily operation basic towards the guests
• Ensure complaint and requests are handled with the aim of exceeding guest expectations.
• Ensure consistency service within the department
• Sharing guest feedback to the team
• Maintain a level of broader knowledge which enables you to handle minor problems in all fields of the department.
• Open to new ideas and willing to make changes in improving customer satisfaction.
Responsible business:
• Assist the Assistant Chief Engineer/Chief Engineer to set up the Preventive Maintenance System and run same.
• Ensure that appropriate files are maintained and resources kept for future reference
• Complete daily reports outlining work undertaken for the day.
• Recommended changes to these standards
• General building minor maintenance repairs.
• Demonstrate flexibility in changing the work schedule in line of guest priorities.
• Complete work orders as requested by the Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer to meet customer requirements.
• Understand & follow the Escap Work Order System and Preventative Maintenance System
• Be responsible in protecting the inviroment such as the trees, the sea, and special species
• Be aware of the Resorts Environmental Program and carry out duties in your day to day job tasks bearing this in mind.
• Under- takes repairs and maintenance of kitchen Equipment and maintain when required.
• Maintain proper condition of all equipment and work areas
• Implement and carry out maintenance program in accordance with established timeframes
• Attend to all types of repair and maintenance work in the resort premises, including any new additions / extensions to the Resort or any other properties.
• Carry pager and respond to requests from other departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day.

• Conduct lighting checks to ensure all lightings are in working order.
• Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure
• Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
• Assist with the implementation of the resort&039;s preventative maintenance system and repair log system
• Shift inspection and rectification.
• Understand and ensure your staff understanding IHG Brand Standard related to your department
• Open and close the shift, ensure effective shift hand over
• Rotate the roles (cross training) within department when required

Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
Required Skills
Good communication and writing skills
Able to speak, read and write English
Proficient in computer operation.
Qualifications
• Certificate from Technical school or similar capacity
• Some knowledge in English
Experience
• Prefer experience in similar capacity
• At least 2 years experience preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity and including supervisory experience or training.
