- Know and understand the operation and maintenance of all laundry & kitchen Equipment and maintain when required.
- Ensure complaint and requests are handled with the aim of exceeding guests expectations.
- Supervise work to be undertaken by outside contractors.

- Assist the ACE to set up the Preventive Maintenance System and run same
- Participate, support and attend training programs as scheduled.
- Ensure that all Kitchen and laundry equipment are in good condition and are maintained regularly.

- To report for duty punctually, wearing the Resort uniform and follow the grooming standards.
- Liaise directly with the department (such as HouseKeeping, Food & Beverages, Front Office..) regarding the completion of work orders and prioritize in order of guest satisfaction. Human Resources
- Notify your superior immediately when any equipment or lighting failure is noticed to expedite repair/replacement.
- Understand how the FCS Engineering Software System and Preventive Maintenance System work.
- Familiarize with the power distribution to the above equipment.
- Follow up all work orders in the FCS Engineering Software System and ensure that there is no backlog of work and to take any necessary follow up.
- Be able to work alone as assigned, some work does not require two staff to do the work.
- Understand requirements of each job and ensure the completion targets are met.
- Notify managers or internal staff of any delays in performing works/task in accepted standard time frame.
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation immediately if it occurs and notify your manager of potential danger.
- Open to new ideas and willing to make changes in improving guest satisfaction.
- Monitor stock and order spare parts for equipment, general consumable parts and materials as needed to maintain minimum stock levels.
- Participate in the day to day operation of the Engineering Department included general repairs and maintenance in the resort.
- Prioritizes and takes appropriate remedial action in case of any urgent problems.
- Familiarize with the location and operation of all the resort, Laundry and kitchen equipment.
- Carry mobile and respond to requests from other departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day.
- Demonstrate cooperation and trust with colleagues, supervisor and across departments.
- Ensure engineering equipment rooms are checked and cleaned are in operating order.
- Contribute in solving the day to day operating problem of the Engineering Department.
- Participate actively as a member of the resort in the event of fire or other emergencies.
- Know and understand the duties, be prepared to take his place if needed.
- Utilize computer applications to perform the required checklists and reports.

- Be familiar with property, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly.
- Become familiar with the Regent Phu Quoc Resort Collective Labor Agreement and follow the rules of the agreement.
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with resort requirements.
