Label Compliance Specialist

Overview of the position:
Food Label Compliance and Brand/Trademark management is to oversee label compliance and brand/trademark management within the food industry across various markets with a focus on the US market. This role will involve ensuring that our product labels meet all regulatory requirements and managing brand/trademark when launching products.
Key Deliverables:

Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management.
Manage local brand and trademark activities during product launches.
Manage and inspect all labels on product packages to ensure adherence to regulations and relevant standards.
Collaborate with the existing trademark registration team to ensure effective management.
Develop tools to manage the development of new labeling and modify standard operating procedures when regulations change.
Become an expert in label compliance by analyzing and understanding reports and leveraging data library resources provided.
Understand and review label compliance requests for various products and markets, with a focus on transitioning from outsourcing to in- house management.

Background and key competencies:

Previous experience and understanding in label compliance requests for various products & markets within the food industry, with a focus on the US market is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field
Familiarity with brand/trademark regulations across different markets.
