Laboratory Technician (Chemical Lab - GC Team), 5-month-contract

Conduct on- site sampling or testing following requirements
Be responsible for all technical and quality aspects of testing activities in the Lab as authorized or assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor
Maintain and upkeep laboratory records and documentations
Report to the daily testing activities to Laboratory Supervisor and Lab Manager
Shift work may be required
Prepare and set- up analytical instruments as assigned
Chemical analysis and evaluation to ensure compliance to international standards within the turnaround time
Do the other work as assigned by line manager
Interpret test results, prepare test reports as well as perform other related administrative work
Conduct maintenance and calibration of instruments

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or its equivalent
Experience in operating GC / GC–MS and knowledge of ISO17025 Quality Management System are advantageous
English Communication with B level or its equivalent
Result and service- oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
