Lasers Repair Engineer Coherent Services Vietnam Limited Liability Company

*Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both optical and electrical repairs on the laser. This position will work closely with the Customer Support Team (Service Team & Order Admin) and Logistic Team.
Our Laser products are used in a range of applications, including microelectronics, scientific research and government programs, OEM components and instrumentation, and materials processing markets.
Coherent Inc. is a manufacturer and supplier of state- of- the- art high‐powered precision electro‐optical components and laser- based solutions for medical, scientific, and commercial applications.

*Education & Experience:
- 2+ years of working experience in manufacturing setting with relevant major of duties and responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or photonics- related field or equivalent experience such as mechatronics, electrical engineering, and automation.
- Prior experience in Lasers or Electro- Optics is advantageous.
*Skills & Other Requirements:
- Fluency in English.
- Technical knowledge and skills in laser technology and engineering is an advantage.
- Self- driven and able to work independently, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Participate in initial training at the Business Unit Coherent Kaiserslautern in Germany
- Computer literate.
- Good teamwork ability.
- Organizational and time management skills to efficiently plan and execute projects and tasks.
- Problem- solving and analytical skills to diagnose and fix technical issues.
- Creativity and innovation skills to develop new or improved laser products.
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the quality and safety of laser systems.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work with other engineers, technicians, operators, vendors, and customers.
