Lead Back-End Engineer C# .NET

Other tasks as assigned.
Ensure backend stability and quality, owning the backend technical architecture.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with detailed product specifications.
Collaborate and communicate with the stakeholders on backend project planning and execution.
Provide mentorship, training, and oversee the career development of backend engineers.
Review and approve backend technical documentation and code.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and direction to the backend team for project execution.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Good command of English – both written and spoken.
10+ years of backend software development experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.

Technical proficiency

Extensive experience and understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs.
Advanced understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases.
Hands- on experience with Azure services or any other equivalent cloud platforms.
Expert- level implementation skills with C, ASP.NET and .NET Core.
Strong understanding and proficiency in design patterns, data structures, and development best practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Leadership & collaboration

Proven ability to lead and mentor Engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross- functional teams, including product managers and frontend developers.

Preferred qualifications

Experience working with Unity
Experience working and collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones
Experience in the gaming industry
