Lean Manufacturing Engineer

Actively support the Costing Team to acquire appropriate LCs on shoe models. Help demand surcharges and present suggestions for improvement
Track company performance against SPIKE KPIs. Steer team efforts into successfully achieving them and directly engage with LO counterparts
Support early automation adoption. Provide technical guidance and data on trials. Perform deep dives on new technologies and study their feasibility
Accelerate process cycle times through lean concepts and continuous improvement. Eliminate extraneous elements and develop streamlined standards
Acts as a first responder to issues relating to efficiency in Development, especially when the LOs (brand customers) and HQ (brand headquarter) are concerned. Activities include, but not limited to: cycle time tracking, shoe construction review, process feasibility, teardown, capacity checking
Coordinate with HWI and HWD (sister companies) on model parameters and information. Share best practices and maintain a united Hwaseung Enterprise
Guarantee that the manufacturing processes are innovative and optimal. Drive process- mapping and documentation efforts to push for a more extensive understanding of the processes
Collaborate with other departments on ad ho projects. Actively partake in the conceptualization and implementation initiatives. Foster strategic and close working relationships (Innovation Center, Costing, PE Team, Development, US Sports kick- off, Production, Quality, etc.)
Promote Sample Room improvement through evaluation, benchmarking, and standardization activities. Also support through lay outing, multi- skill evaluations, and 6S/SME audits ‘
Co- manage a team of 58 with direct supervision on 7 people to deliver tangible business results. Expedite the up skilling of ME- Development local staff. Invest on a people- first approach through trainings on IF, reports, software, and command of the English language

Education level from College
Strong MS Office skills; Knowledgeable in FlexSim and Minitab software
Exceptional data analysis and problem- solving capabilities
Lean Six Sigma Certified
Experience in the manufacturing industry overall, footwear manufacturing
PMP Certified
Superior English skills
