Job Summary:
- The Learning & Development Specialist will also manage a team of trainers and facilitators, ensuring professional growth and adherence to quality standards.
- The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for overseeing and implementing the learning and development initiatives within the company. He/she will work closely with the HR department and Supervisors to identify training needs, design, and develop training programs, and ensure effective delivery of these programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to identify and assess training needs across the company.
- Ensure training programs align with organizational goals, business objectives, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to training and development activities.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and design targeted training interventions to address these gaps.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to measure the impact on employee performance and overall organizational success.
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs, materials, and resources, utilizing various formats such as classroom training, e- learning, workshops, and on- the- job training.
- Develop and maintain training budgets, monitor expenses, and provide regular reports on training activities and outcomes to management.
- Manage a team of trainers and facilitators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of training programs, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with external training providers, consultants, and vendors to leverage external expertise and resources when needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in learning and development methodologies and incorporate new techniques and technologies into training programs as appropriate.
