We’re hunting for a candidate who bridges the gap between Learning Design & UX, to join our Product Team. The job is to design the structure & the learning experience of English lessons for our app. This is a product- adjacent role.

As a Learning Experience Designer, you will join the product development team to create the most wholesome learning app for beginner- level communication skills (A1, A2).
You will own the following scopes:

Learner&039;s empathy & learning experience impact. That includes:
Conduct user research to identify learning needs, preferences, and pain points.
Collect and analyze requirements from users and internal stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions.
Visualize learning solutions. That includes:
Creation of the rationale and design criteria for the learning experience (user flow, aha moment design, tactile design...)
Developing prototypes & wireframes is part of the process.
Test and iterate on prototypes based on user feedback and performance data.
That includes:
Usability tests, synthesis of data
Utilize insights from user data and research to inform design decisions.

You will communicate extremely well, to:

Provide detailed logic and specifications for developers to implement learning features.
Facilitate communication between cross- functional teams to ensure alignment and project success.
Coordinate with Data Analysts to monitor and leverage user data for informed decision- making.
Ensure that the user interface is intuitive and user- friendly.
Work closely with the product development team to integrate learning solutions into the app/web platform.
Collaborate with Content Executives to produce high- quality content.

Working Hours: 08:30 AM- 6:00 PM, with a 1.5- hour lunch break.
Location: Nam Trung Yen Urban Area, Cau Giay, Ha Noi.
Monday to Friday, weekends off.

Hard skills you must have:

Strong knowledge in one or more fields: User Experience Design, Psychology, Science of Learning
Solid understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories.
Fluent in English (equivalent IELTS 7.0 or higher)
Learner- Centered / User- Centered Approach
Strong skills in understanding and analyzing learners’ needs (Needs Empathy & Analysis).
Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials tailored to different learning styles and preferences. (Learning Experience Design)

Soft skills you should have:

Communication: Excellent communication skills, demonstrated through active listening, questioning, and presenting information.
Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate the effectiveness of learning materials and approaches. Ability to make data- driven decisions and iterate on designs.
Problem- Solving Skills: Excellent problem- solving skills to identify and address learning challenges. Ability to design and implement innovative learning solutions.

Step Up&039;s Recruitment Stages:

Stage 4: In- person interview with the hiring manager.
Stage 3: A brief HR phone interview lasting 10- 15 minutes to discuss job basics, assess fit, and arrange interview appointments.
Stage 1: Initial review of your CV (within 1- 3 business days)
Stage 2: Complete a professional skills test (received via email) and submit it within 3 days.

The Professional skills test:
Support your solution with a strong rationale and visual demonstration where possible.
Propose an innovative solution to the following user story: As a learner on The Coach, I feel bored with learning materials once I recognize their repetitive instructional patterns.
