Our partner- Pioneer finance- is planning on setting up a new ops team in Vietnam. We are looking for candidates for the position of Lending Officer Support (New Zealand Lending) – Vietnam
Location: Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City Office- based)
Department: Lending Operations / Credit Support
Role Purpose
Strong English skills are required, as the role supports NZ lending workflows and documentation.
This role does not require direct phone communication with customers.
The Lending Officer Support role provides back- office and operational support to New Zealand- based lending officers and advisers.
The role focuses on loan application processing, documentation, verification, and internal coordination, helping ensure applications are complete, accurate, and ready for assessment.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Application Support
· Prepare and organise supporting documents for credit assessment
· Ensure required information is collected in line with NZ lending and compliance requirements
· Assist NZ lending officers with consumer and commercial loan applications
· Review loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
Documentation & Compliance
· Check loan documentation aligns with internal credit policies and AML requirements
· Review bank statements, financial documents, and third- party reports
· Support compliance checks under NZ lending standards (training provided)
· Maintain accurate records in internal systems and CRM platforms
Internal Communication & Coordination
· Coordinate with internal teams to support timely loan processing and settlement
· Communicate with NZ team members via English (email, internal systems, online meeting tools)
· Follow up internally on missing information or clarification requests
Process & Administration
· Support settlement preparation and post- approval documentation
· Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
· Update loan statuses and notes accurately in internal systems
· Perform other administrative or lending support tasks as required
What This Role Does NOT Involve
· No direct sales targets
· No cold calling or phone sales
· No requirement for fluent spoken English with customers
· No responsibility for final lending decisions
