Logistics and Customs Supervisor / Freight Forwarding Industry

Main tasks:

Build and develop Customs Products/ Customs Flow as business requirement/Project Requirement by giving very proper consultant to Sales team and manager.
Identify areas of concern in clients’ import and export processes through monitoring of team performance against company and client standards, regular audit of shipment documents and accounting, and periodic client reviews
Improving Customs formalities and preparing customs work instructions and expediting workflow to set up the efficiency on the Customs Clearance for new customers and new requests of existing customers.
Collect and maintain Customs Database on new updates from Vietnam Customs regulations to ensure Customs workflow in the company is up to date.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to the logistics department.
Strategically handle and manage logistics, customs, transportation, and warehousing services
Work with suppliers to improve their service if KPIs are not being met.
Liaise with customs authorities in Ho Chi Minh and other border gates to resolve any issues, provide necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
Ensure all policies and procedures are consistently administered
Measure Customs service lead time and deliver valuable initiatives on Customs Products
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets.
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Create an environment consistent with a continuous improvement culture
Ensure customer satisfaction and feedback to the customers in a professional manner.
Resolve ad- hoc requests from the Customs office or Customs matters.
Prepare reports, review and monitor shipment, system and procedure timely and accurately
To consult or alert the team of any risk of Customs procedure to avoid penalty.

Required years of professional experience:

Graduated of Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration/ Logistic/ Business Expertise in Customs with 10 years or more of experience in Logistics/ Customs Field.
Preferably with experience in Customs Brokerage. Customs Certification is an advantage.
