Logistics Branch Manager

The Branch Manager will direct and supervise about 40 sales and operation staffs and day-to-day operations in the assigned Hai Phong branch, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.
1.Operation leading:
•To lead, support, improve operations (trucking, ocean/air freight, customs clearance,…) process to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver service and financial results.
•P&L responsibility for the branch office.
•To be responsible for personnel leadership and personnel planning for the branch office in cooperation with the senior management
•Deploy continuous improvement efforts to drive productivity, reduce operating costs, streamline work processes and work collaboratively with others to provide seamless quality customer services.
•Analyse operational and customer performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports and collaboration with others
•To monitor working discipline and assess the work and results of the employees
•To monitor progress of claims
•To perform guidelines issued by the higher management
•To be responsible for development of existing and implementation of new logistics vendors/partners.
•To take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.
2.Business development:
•Be responsible for working with Sotrans Logistics’s customers, sales activities, quote for customers/ or biddings, negotiate and close won for new business in order that team gain higher customer satisfaction and perform set budget of revenue and gross profit.
•Approach and develop new relationship with target clients.
•Maintain and develop customers portfolio to growth the company.
•Support and collaborate with Head of Business Development of Sotrans in business planning, marketing communications.
•Participate with cross funtional department in preparation of proposals and bidding.
•Closely follow up on the sales leads to realization of service opportunities, negotiate and resolve any concerns to close target sales, proactively pursue to win the contracts/ projects.
