Logistics Specialist SVP Vietnam Co.,Ltd

ABOUT THE POSITION:
● Logistics Specialist has to have good knowledge about the Logistics field such as: Trade terms, Supply chain, International transportation, Customs law, legal texts from Vietnam state agencies such as Ministry of Trade and Commerce, General Department of Customs, General Department of Tax,… as well as continuously update them on time. This position also requires to cover all logistics competences to supervise and backup the jobs of other internal staff .
Essential functions and key responsibilities are:
● In charge of import / export shipment from oversea / domestic Suppliers/Customers
● Tracking shipping instructions and input data to control files.
● Checking production plan to set up estimated shipping schedule.
● Placing booking with nominated forwarder to export goods in time as required
● Controlling material master list and creating new customs code for new parts.
● Checking the tax table and setting up HS code for new parts, tools, molds, machines…
● Completing Customs procedure and making sure the correction of Shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading and so on) and Customs Declaration Forms
● Checking BL from the shipping line and confirming.
● Applying C/O ( EUR1 / CPTPP/ B / REX ..)
● Arranging payment for local charges
● Collect BL and send it to the customer.
● In charge of other shipping modes: temporary import, re- export, temporary export, re- import, return defective goods to vendors…
● Handling of destructing defective goods
● Material balance sheet and liquidation data
● Maintaining C- TPAT and ISO certificate.
● Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Experience
● At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
● Graduated from university majoring in Foreign Economic Relations / Foreign Trade / Business Administration
● Knowledge of logistics: Incoterms, Customs Laws, Tariffs, International transport, Supply chains...

● Working well under high pressure
● Effective English communication is a must.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
● Graduated from University Major in Economics / Foreign Trade / Business Administration

● Must be able to communicate effectively with employees through multiple forms of technology with telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information.
● The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
● Ability to travel to all areas in the facility which may require climbing, ascending and descending stairs, and traveling long distances, as required. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Ability to respond to audible and visual alarms.
● Able to move and tear down machines with weight up to 27 Kg
