You’ll join a small but powerful ML team, contributing directly to core products ranging from recommender systems to data analytics and AI- powered tools for the Web3 ecosystem.
At Ninety Eight, we’re building data- driven products that sit at the intersection of AI and Web3. We&039;re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who’s passionate about turning data into real- world impact through applied ML solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, train, and evaluate ML models across domains such as recommendation systems, NLP, or user behavior prediction.
Build and maintain data pipelines for training and inference (batch or real- time).
Work with large structured and unstructured datasets, performing data wrangling and feature engineering.
Deploy models to production environments and monitor their performance.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams (Product, Data, Backend) to define ML use cases and build solutions.
Stay current with new research and tooling in ML/AI, especially in the context of Web3 products.
Write clean, testable code and follow engineering best practices in version control and deployment.
QUALIFICATIONS
2–4 years of experience in ML engineering or applied data science roles.
Proficiency in Python and ML libraries/frameworks (e.g., Scikit- learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and basic ML deployment tools (e.g., Docker, FastAPI).
Solid software engineering mindset: version control (Git), unit testing, clean code practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast- moving team environment.
Good understanding of ML fundamentals: data preprocessing, model training/evaluation, and error analysis.
Experience with SQL and working with relational/NoSQL databases.
