Who We Are Looking For
NYB is seeking a talented Machine Learning Scientist with a master’s degree or higher, preferably with research experience and a background in computational biology or bioinformatics. The ideal candidate is a proactive, research- oriented scientist who is passionate about applying machine learning to solve complex biological challenges. Your expertise in deep learning and model development will enable NYB to push boundaries in drug discovery innovation.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Machine Learning Scientist, your primary responsibilities will include:
Integrating multimodal health data sources and applying fusion techniques to provide clinicians with comprehensive insights into patient health.
Implementing interpretability methods (e.g., SHAP, attention mechanisms) to ensure model predictions are transparent and tailored to clinical use cases.
Developing and refining ML models to support real- time health predictions and diagnostics across structured and unstructured data sources, including clinical records, imaging, and sensor data.
Ensuring adherence to healthcare data standards (HIPAA, GDPR) in model handling and data processing.
Managing ML pipeline processes, including model versioning, CI/CD for model updates, and monitoring for continuous improvement.
