Position Overview:
PLC/CNC maintenance activities and manufacturing system monitoring planning for ensuring the required uptime and production support on the daily basis for all manufacturing shifts.
The Maintenance Engineers will partner with Machining & Assembly Operations, Product Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance and other functional areas. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the position is accountable for a defined section of manufacturing line for providing Technical support and Process Engineering to assure business objectives are met or exceeded in the areas of Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost and Environment initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead a Safety first culture while ensuring safe work practices and compliance to all local regulatory guidelines are met.
Safety first approach to everything we do. Ensuring that LOTO (Lock out tag out) processes and procedures are adhered to and all risks are identified and mitigated before each task.
• Support any machine/equipment project for process lines from the planning to implementation.
Machine Acceptance documents deliverables (MOA, EHS checklist, etc…)
Open Issues List tracking until complete closure.
Commissioning & installation.
Maintenance documentation deliverables:
+ Maintenance Troubleshooting
+ Maintenance Manuals or Books
+ Maintenance Work Instructions
+ Spare parts list
+ PLC/CNC programs backup
+ Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic schemes
• Ensure that Process control standards are captured into EPS_Error Proofing System, monitored and tracked to ensure robust systems are in place and strictly adhered to.
• Effectively train, coach and support Maintenance and Engineering team members in problem solving (e.g. ECRs, DCRs, CARDs, PPS, etc…) and resolution activities relating to Process and Controls Engineering.
NC programming creation and modification for Machining lines
Participate on daily start up meetings to support manufacturing team with issues solution.
Software investigation and problem diagnosis analysis
PLC programming creation and modification for Machining, Assembly and EOL lines
Suppoert the line Open Issues List tracking and working with Cross Functional Team – Process, Operations, Quality, Maintenance teams as one team to complete issues closure.
• Ensure any Change related to Process will be executed via Change Management System with correct validation trials and do not have any impact on Production requirements.
Execute the PLC/CNC and software backup according to the overall maintenance Plan and after Changes implementation.
• Drive and support all activities to ensure overall business objectives and targets are met or exceeded.
• Establish the Maintenance Plan for preventive maintenance related to Controls acitivies.
• Looking for ways to eliminate waste and cost out of the business though team engagement and ownership.
• Creating working relationships- Cross Functional Team mindset – Process, Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Product Engineering teams to work together as one team to achieve great outcomes for the business.
• Create Kaizen projects to implement continuous improvements in the process lines.
• Establish local talent development as a core value to develop future leaders and grow organisational capability.
• Support Planning and order spare parts, follow up on usage and inventory.
• Compliance to VinFast Manufacturing systems and processes.
