Maintenance Manager

fi Vietnam is currently the largest exporter of Cashews, Pepper & Instant Coffee in Vietnam, investing in the state- of- the- art instant coffee facility and running 7 large factories with 7,500 employees across Central & South Vietnam. Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) is a global leader offering naturally good food & beverage ingredients and solutions. ofi commenced operations in Vietnam in 1997, setting up its representative office. Since then, we have established an extensive presence across different parts of Vietnam, including our head office in Ho Chi Minh City and regional offices in Binh Dinh, Long An, Dong Nai, Phu Yen, Lamdong and Gialai Provinces.
Position Summary
To lead and manage all maintenance activities at the pistachio processing plant, ensuring equipment reliability, plant uptime, and safety compliance while supporting production goals and food safety standards.
Specific Functions, Additional duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with ofi safety policies, procedure and local regulations.
Support audits and inspections (internal, external, and regulatory).
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and local regulations.
Implement and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO), JSA, permit- to- work (PTW), and safety protocols
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all machinery and utilities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
Monitor equipment performance and schedule predictive maintenance to prevent unplanned downtime.
Breakdown Management
Lead quick and effective troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Coordinate immediate response to breakdowns to minimize production loss.
Team Leadership
Supervise and train maintenance technicians and contractors.
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Spare Parts & Asset Management
Maintain updated records of all machinery, warranties, and maintenance contracts.
Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
Continuous Improvement
Key Equipment Handled Roasters, conveyors, color sorters, packaging machines, dust collectors, compressors, Electrical panels, PLCs, motors, pumps, HVAC, fire systems.
Propose and lead improvements in machine performance, energy use, and plant efficiency.
Participate in capital projects and installation of new equipment.

Qualification, Competencies Requirements
Education: Engineering degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Have over 5 years of experience in similar positions and scales.
