JOB SUMMARY
- Budget monitoring and forecasting
- Journaling the movement of costs between projects
- Partnering Budget holders with budget management to deliver value for money
- Providing financial analysis for decision making and managing budget risk
- Period end prosedures- lead role in the production of management reporting including data extraction, data review, data transformation and providing narrative to explain movement and variances.
- Settng of system for recording and reporting of project financials
- Reporting to internal and external stakeholders of all aspects of financial performance and forecasting.
- Assist with continuous enhancement of management Information function on OUCRU&039;s financial system (D365)

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting procedure
- Coordinate management reporting and post- award grant management tasks with all OCURU units
- Produce periodical reports to OUCRU Committees
- Produce Budget reports for budget holders
- Produce monthly report to Oxford University
- Produce financial report upon request from funders
- Prepare journal entries as required for period end adjustments
Planning, Forecasting and Budget Monitoring
- Forecasting by project and OUCRU- wide
- Supporting the Finance team with process and system enhancements to drive efficiency of the D365 system
- Assisting bduget holder with budget assumptions and set- up
- Budget review and monitoring by project and OUCRU- wide
- End of grant financial procedure
- Setting up of project budget in the financial system (D365) in consultation with budget holders.
Accomplish other assigned tasks as required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.

This post is based at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.
HOURS OF WORK
Full time. 37.5 hours per week, extra hours may be required
TENURE
Initially for 01 year, including a 02 month probation period, with possibility of extension for second year based on annual performance appraisal.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Ability to prioritise in managing workload to deliver quality output within deadline
- Good interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work with non- finance colleagues to bring about financial awareness.
- Advance Excel Skills
- Good knowledge of working with financial systems; experience of D365 desirable.
- Experienced working as a management or financial accountant or similar role
- Excellent team player, who is able to build productive working relationship with colleagues from across the organisation,
- Relevant Degree at Tertiary level
- Proficient in Vietnamese and English
DESIRED CRITERIA
- Experience in non- profit sector advantages.
- Experience in financial analysis, management reporting or similar tasks.
- Experience of working with financial reporting tools (preferred)

- Contracted salary:
Grade: RS4/IC4
Salary ranges: $1,2[protected info] gross per month
- Two months salary for annual bonus and clothes

- Annual leave 18 days/year for the first year, a maximum of 30 days
