OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
- The PMO Lead is a project management professional who responssible for monitoring, reporting, and overseeing project, this is inclusive of responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in order to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of all project stakeholders/customer.
- The incumebent is also taking responsible for supporting the successful roll- out and adoption of the project management tools, processes, and methodologies of Lazada Logistics Vietnam and have leadership responsibilities for projects and/or manage a team of PMO committee team members.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicates with relevant stakeholders regarding status of specific projects. Ensures the project delivers the anticipated results.
- Recommends and takes action to direct/manage solutions to problems.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project.
- Defines scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Takes responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in order to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of all project stakeholders/customer. This includes the management of project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resource, communications, risk and procurement through all phases of the project life cycle.
KEY DECISIONS
- To ensure lesson learned are conducted, documented and submitted to PMO for distribution and sharing.
- To coordinate the completion of all project components to meet appropriate economic standards, ensures customer satisfaction, timely completion, and project profitability.
- To assess project risks and develop timely, proactive plans to mitigate risk factors. Ensure timely communication/ escalation of risk items to key stakeholders.
- Using change management practices to manage all changes to the project and prevent scope creep.
- To encourage team- work and maintain high level of team morale.
- To provide timely and accurate status report to the Project Sponsor, the Steering Group, the Project Management Office (PMO) and other key stakeholders.
- Be responsible for following project management methodology through all aspects of the project from inception through implementation.
- To ensure proper handover and closing at the end of project.
- To keep track and document project progress relate to schedule, budget, key milestone, major deliverables and quality.
- To provide direction, motivation, training, and decision support to project members.
- Ensure the project scope, risk, issue, budget and schedule are properly manage and communicated.
- To manages sponsor, customer and key stakeholder’s expectations.
- Ensure related project documentation is accurate, consistent and complete according to internal documentation policy and/or contractual obligations.
