The PR Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s reputation through strategic planning and execution of PR activities. This role includes managing sponsorship programs, evaluating award opportunities, content planning, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support the company’s communication objectives.
What you will do
Public relations: 25%
Build and maintain relationships with Press, Magazine, TV channel and Media Partners (national & international);
Develop budget & implement corporate PR Campaigns/Events/Initiatives to enhance the company’s reputation/brand;
Implement PR activities (Corporate Spokesperson, Media events, Rankings & Awards…): 40%
MAIN TASKS:
Internal Business Collaboration: Work closely with Business Units and departments to coordinate communication activities. Foster collaborative relationships to ensure consistent and effective communication across the organization;
Agency Management: Manage external agencies to execute and organize corporate communication campaigns, events, and reports. Ensure all external partners are aligned with the company’s communication objectives and standards;
Leadership Media Visibility: Develop and manage opportunities to enhance corporate leadership visibility in the media and relevant industry groups.Coordinate activities such as speaking engagements and exclusive interviews to promote company image through top management;
PR Activities Planning and Execution: Develop and implement PR activities to enhance the company’s reputation, promote new/current business and align with the company’s objectives;
Campaign Measurement and Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide detailed reports on their outcomes. Use insights from campaign performance to optimize future PR strategies;
Content Management: Plan and orient contents for Corporate Communication, ensuring alignment with the company’s communication goals. Review and edit content created by copywriters, including press releases, PR articles, social media posts, and website content, before seeking approval from the Corporate Communications Deputy Director;
OTHERS
Awards and Rankings for Corporate: Research, evaluate, and apply for prestigious domestic and international awards and rankings for the company. Ensure timely and accurate submission of applications to enhance the company’s recognition;
Sponsorship Program Management: Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities that align with the company’s brand and objectives. Maximize the benefits and exposure derived from sponsorship agreements;
CSR/GR Communication Support: Support communication events related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Government Relations (GR) activities;
Corporate Communication Support: Assist the Corporate Communications Deputy Director in developing and executing corporate communication strategies/campaigns/plans. Contribute to the delivery of the company’s growth strategies nationwide;
Crisis management: 25%
Develop and implement crisis communications plan following corporate’s crisis management guideline in coordinates with other departments;
Others: 10%
Develop and implement PR policies and procedures;
Involve in recruiting, training and coaching new members of the public relations team;
Manage performance and development of team members.
What you will need
Knowledge and experience
Experience: Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within a PR or communications agency/client, with a proven track record of successful campaigns and strong media relationships;
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, but not limited to the list;
Language: Excellent English;
Skills and abilities
Extensive Media Network: A wide- reaching network of media contacts, an in- depth understanding of journalist needs, and a keen awareness of emerging media trends;
Leadership and Mentorship: Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively;
Attitude: Working well under pressure, hands- on, open- minded, and able to travel for business trip;
Collaborative Approach: A team player with a can- do attitude who is willing to learn from others and excel in a collaborative environment;
Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive content and communicate effectively with team members, BOM, BUs….;
