ROLE OVERVIEW:
As Managing Director, you will shape the direction and growth of ODM Vietnam, champion operational excellence, and strengthen cross- border collaboration to deliver measurable value for global clients. You will serve as both a strategic leader and business operator, guiding multicultural teams and deepening client partnerships across Asia.
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Managing Director to lead our Vietnam operations while driving regional collaboration with our China team. This is a high- impact leadership role for a proven operator who can balance strategic vision with hands- on execution across sourcing, merchandising, production, design, and client servicing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operational Excellence: Ensure world- class execution across RFQs, sampling, mass production, quality control, and logistics.
• Performance Management: Implement and monitor KPIs for Vietnam and China teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Business Development: Drive client acquisition and partnership initiatives in Vietnam, China, and broader Asia markets.
• Travel: Lead regional engagement including quarterly visits to China for team leadership, factory inspections, and client engagements.
• Financial Stewardship: Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitable growth, effective risk management, and long- term value creation.
• Regional Collaboration: Oversee China Merchandising & Production teams, driving cross- border workflows and seamless execution.
• Representation: Act as ODM’s ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings across Asia.
• Sustainability & Best Practices: Champion sustainable sourcing and operational excellence across all functions.
• Client Partnership: Manage and expand global client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and account growth.
• Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire Vietnam teams across Sales, Marketing, Design, and Merchandising, ensuring alignment with company strategy and client expectations.
