Duties and Responsibilities (based on a 44- hour work week)
The Director is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Business Management & Strategy
Expected outcome: Drive the team towards achieving organizational vision as well as financial target assigned by BOD.
Tasks:
Monitor the annual budget and ensure that revenue/sales targets are met
Direct and control the center’s operations so as to ensure that the organization achieves its mission and objectives
Prepare monthly, quarter and annual reports and give strategic advice to CEO and Board of Directors
Research and implement new initiatives to drive revenue, lower operating costs and maintain competitive product quality, all while delivery excellent customer service
Create and report on business plans, lead in implementing and monitoring its efficacy and progress
Sales & Marketing
Expected outcome: Effectively consolidate/enhance GPA’s market stronghold and maximizing its revenue.
Tasks:
Maintain an up- to- date understanding of the market and competitors
Research and implement effective sales techniques to improve sales conversion rate
Manage and report on the effective implementation of marketing strategy to maintain market presence and generate sales leads
Direct and control the creation of Sales Marketing materials (brochures, flyers, leaflets...)
Directly create and implement major campaigns to boost revenue (public events, sales campaigns, client networking...) and act as centre figurehead in those campaigns
Academics & Quality Control
Expected outcome: Ensure the team upholds high standards of academic performance and client satisfaction so that sustainable growth is achieved.
Tasks:
Maintain the database of student progress and results for each counseling season
Ensure employees move in the same strategic direction to achieve its mission
Manage human resources, including attracting, hiring and retention of personnel
Oversee the quality of counseling programs, customer service and level of service in line with service agreements and other retention strategies
Apply technology in operations management
Organize and conduct training and coaching to support members of the team
Salary and Benefits
The Director will be paid on a monthly basis at the fixed rate in gross salary. You are expected to complete a probation period of two (02) months as Director. On or around your two- month completion, we will conduct a performance review as the basis to establish a permanent appointment for the position. Salary range: as negotiation depending on experience and qualifications.
Performance Bonus
In addition to the monthly salary, the Director is entitled to 13th month salary and additional annual bonus if GPA Counseling achieves its annual target for revenue and profitability. This amount is calculated based on the target for annual profit as established at the beginning of the year and taking into account any adjustments agreed by the CEO, and will be paid once a year at the end of January of the following year. This performance bonus is effective upon the start of the permanent appointment. In addition, the Director may be offered performance bonuses based on business results of the division and his/her performance, at the discretion of the BOD
Performance Review and Promotion
Following the two- month review, the Director will receive performance reviews twice a year in June and December each year.
Annual and Sick Leave
As a full- time employee, the Director is entitled to all statutory holidays, sick leave and paid holidays as indicated by the Government of Vietnam.
Health Insurance
GPA Vietnam provides basic health insurance coverage for all of its full- time employees. It intends to comply with all government requirements concerning social security and payroll taxes, if such requirements exist.
