JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Quality Control (QC) Engineer, you will join our dedicated testing team, focusing primarily on manual testing (70%) to ensure the quality of our product (built with NodeJS/React, ASP.NET, and Windows Forms), with a secondary focus on test automation (30%) to improve testing efficiency. You will work in an engaging, international environment, collaborating with developers, project managers, and customers to deliver high- quality solutions for traceability and automation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manual Testing (70%)
Identify, document, and track defects to resolution using tools like Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, ensuring product quality.
Perform various types of testing, including System, Integration, Performance, Load, Smoke, and Regression tests.
Design, execute, and document comprehensive manual test cases based on system specifications, user stories, and requirements.
Create detailed test plans, test designs, and test result reports for stakeholders.
Automation Testing (30%)
Integrate automated tests into existing workflows, with support for CI/CD pipelines as needed.
Automate select manual test cases using tools like Telerik Test Studio, Playwright, or similar to enhance testing efficiency.
Maintain and execute automated test scripts and environments.
Participate in Scrum processes (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand- ups) to align testing with project goals.
Summarize and report test results to team leaders and management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of professional experience as a QA/QC Engineer, with strong expertise in manual testing of Windows and Web applications.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency with bug tracking and test case management tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
Detail- oriented, self- disciplined, and proactive approach to work.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem- solving skills.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server; MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle a plus).
Practical experience in test automation using tools like Telerik Test Studio, Playwright, or equivalent (basic to intermediate proficiency acceptable).

PREFERRED SKILLS (PLUS):

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure Pipelines, Jenkins).
Experience with basic automation scripting (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python).
Scrum or Agile certification, or ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
Knowledge of industrial production or traceability systems (e.g., labelling, marking processes).
Previous experience in European or multicultural work environments.
